Video: 2011 Geneva - BMW 1M Coupe in Alpine White
The 2011 Geneva Motor Evidence kicked off yesterday and BMW's exhibit has been surrounded by a large oversupply. In the usual Grand corner, BMW decided to bring out a i Series M Coupe in Alpine White, one of the iii colors available to order.
Despite falling in love yet again with the Alpine White paint, our heart still goes to the Valencia Orange color which has at present become the final option on the 1M being picked upward this Spring.
In person, the 1M Alpine White looks outstanding, the color brings out the widebody structure of the 1M. The forepart and rear fenders stand out even more than and the overall impression screams of aggressiveness. One thing we can say is that none of these colors actually do any justice to the auto past merely looking at the photos. The 1M has to exist seen in person to make a fair assessment.
BMW 1M is powered past the N4 twin-turbocharged three.0-liter I-6 engine. For the 1M, the turbocharger, exhaust system, and ECU have been revised to produce 335 horsepower and 332 pound-feet of torque, though up to 369 pound-feet are bachelor temporarily in overboost mode. Redline is constitute at 7000 rpm. Even though not officially confirmed, the 1M is said to be faster on Nurburgring than the previous generation E46 M3.
In the U.S., the 1M goes on sale in May for a base cost of $47,010.
We took the time to shoot an advertising-hoc video showcasing the car.
